Eszterházy University of Eger from Hungary visits University of Jyväskylä and Experience Workshop in Finland

An official delegation from Eszterházy University, Eger, Hungary, including the Rector, Dr. Kálmán Liptai has visited University of Jyväskylä in May, 2017. The Hungarian delegation introduced and discussed the Complex Basic Program (aka ‘KOALA’), a project from Eszterházy University for the comprehensive methodological reform of the Hungarian education system. Experience Workshop-Finland’s activities were also intensively discussed during the visit. A special thanks to Ilona Téglási Oláh, who initiated the visit.

Members of Eszterházy University’s delegation have met with several important researchers and partners of University of Jyväskylä, including students of the Kids Inspiring Kids in STEAM project from the Viitaniemi School, teachers of the Jyväskylä’s Christian School, which hosts Experience Workshop’s STEAM Club, the Hungarian Studies program at the University of Jyväskylä’s Department of Music, Art & Culture Studies and researchers from Department of Teacher Education. Finally they have also visited the world’s Northernmost permanent collection of István Orosz’s art, owned by the Faculty of Information Technology at University of Jyväskylä.
