Experience Workshop is happy to support the KIDS INSPIRING KIDS IN STEM Erasmus+ project by Budapest Metropolitan University (Hungary), University of Jyväskylä (Finland), University of Cantabria (Spain) and STEM TEAM EAST (UK).
KIKS Erasmus+ started in 5 schools of Jyväskylä, Central-Finland. Sydän-Laukaa school’s group led by Mirka Havinga was joining with an interesting math-art project: everyone constructed a 4Dframe ball and took a photo of it in ”My favourite place”.
Students from Huuhtasuo, led by Ulla Koskiahde, students from Palokka, led by Talja Annukka & Jarmo Laaksonen, and students from Viitaniemi, led by Merja Sinnemäki & Leena Kuorikoski were constructing buckyballs and nano-tubes as a warm-up and played soccer and basketball with them.
Kids from the Mankola school, led by Tapani Aaltonen were building a huge geodesic dome from hundreds of modules; also built balls and constructed truss bridges with 4Dframe.
The University of Jyväskylä’s KIKS Team was Kristóf Fenyvesi, Markus Hähkiöniemi, Pirjo Häkkinen.
